Video Story: My First Two Years on City Council

The following original story was performed live as part of the South Bay Stories Show on March 30th/31st, 2019.

My story, “Mom, I am NOT Vladimir Putin” provides a personal view into my experience serving on the Redondo Beach City Council.  City Council can be Fun, Frustrating, Exciting and Brutal – all in one Night!  

Ultimately, I find the experience rewarding and I absolutely love to “GSD” for my neighbors and community. 

The stories are true and actually occurred during my first 2 years in office.   

I want to thank my wife, Cynthia, and my Mom, Jean Gran, for their love and support.  Public service requires an understanding and patient team, these two help me each and every day.

I hope you enjoy my “behind the scenes” look at serving on the Redondo Beach City Council.
